Apart from having outstanding hard and soft skills, designers are also expected to have great storytelling abilities in order to present their work to colleagues, stakeholders, recruiters, or even the design community. And just as everything else, creating a compelling and logical narrative requires some technique and training, which doesn't always come naturally to everybody.

As a designer, resumes don't really speak to me. All the information you need about my experience is on LinkedIn and my projects are carefully detailed in my portfolio. And even when I do hand out a resume, it always leaves me with the feeling that some information is missing.

Who’s Romy, after all?

I’m a Product Designer based in São Paulo, Brazil.

Formerly graduated in filmmaking, with a passion for communicating and writing, I have found in design the purpose I’ve been looking for: crafting solutions that impact people's lives.

My love for solving problems and creating community are what drove me to ux/ui, where I can cocreate with multidisciplinary teams and practice a wide variety of skills while solving real-life issues that can change the world.
